Join the Fellowship
We’re excited that you’re interested in joining the Independent Assemblies Fellowship! There are a few things to note about the process. After you mail the application and fees, please allow 2-4 weeks for processing and board review. At this point, you will receive confirmation of approval or non-approval status.

Credentials Applications
Whether you’re a seasoned leader or just starting in ministry, the Independent Assemblies has a three-level license structure to most appropriately reflect your experience. If you have never held credentials with the IA or let your credentials expire, use the credentials application link below. If you are a current member looking to apply for the next level of licensure, use the advancement application link below.
1. Exhorter's License: $65 annually
A lay person who is qualified and certified to teach, visit the sick, minister in hospitals and jails, as well as assist in many of the functions of the church. Apply Now
2. Licensed Minister: $100 annually
One who is qualified for evangelism, teaching, administrating, marriage ceremonies, and in some cases, the pastorate. Apply Now
3. Ordained Minister: $115 annually
One who is a properly educated or trained minister with proven practical experience. Apply Now

Organization Applications
Member Church and Not-for-Profit Ministry: $160 annually
This membership level is for churches and non-profit ministries that wish to operate under the covering of the Independent Assemblies 501(c)(3). Organizations in good standing are included in the Independent Assemblies annual report to the IRS. Before applying, organizations must have an EIN, state incorporation, and an established constitution and bylaws. Read the full requirements for organizing your ministry.
Member Church Application
Not-for-Profit Application
Fellowship Church: $50 annually
This membership level is for churches that have a 501(c)(3), but would like to be part of the Independent Assemblies. Fellowship Churches are not listed on the Independent Assemblies annual report to the IRS. However, they still have all membership privileges.
